Experience and in-depth knowledge are the hallmarks of a fine antiques dealer. Hollie Powers Holt has been  buying, selling and appraising antique prints and maps for over three decades.  She is a cum laude graduate of Princeton University, where she studied the History of Art and European Cultural Studies.

Hollie Powers Holt Fine Art handles antique maps, prints and watercolors dating from the late 1500’s to the early 1900’s. They range in price from very affordable early 20th century maps of the Main Line and Philadelphia area as well as some of the rarest and most beautiful botanical and bird prints, large early views of cities, and important maps. Most of these original antique works are stunningly beautiful.  The stories behind their creation and the ways in which they reflect their time of production are fascinating.

The print below depicts an engraving that will be displayed at the show. It is by Priscilla Susan Bury from her series of exceptionally large engravings of amaryllis published in London between 1831 and 1834.  There’s more to see at the Hollie Powers Holt Fine Art website www.fineantiqueprints.com and at The Main Line Antiques Show.
